It’s a cheesy, savory and delicious breakfast bake that is not only very easy to make but also feeds a big crowd! It tastes best when hot out the oven. The Bready Lasagna Pie has become an instant hit in our home when we host overnight guests for Christmas or Easter Holiday. I’ve been making Bready Lasagna for years and it makes a fantastic brinner too!
I love the smell of Bready lasagna baking in the oven because all those mouthwatering flavors starts mingling together while cooking. If you take a peek inside our oven during Bready Lasagna Baking time, chances are high, you’ll see us looking through the window at least once.
Bready Lasagna Pie is the perfect dish to make for Easter Brunch as well because it can be prepared ahead of time and also reheated in case you need to double the recipe for a bigger crowd.
I usually prepare Bready lasagna pie at night and refrigerate it (covered) before baking first thing in the morning, adding 10 minutes or so on the baking time. Bready Lasagna is relatively easy to make with things mainly coming from pantry staples like pasta sauce, noodles, ricotta cheese , mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
Bready Lasagnas are made in one pan (9×13-inch size works best), which means less dishes to wash. Bready Lasagna tastes even better the next day! BREAD LASAGNA Ingredients:
10 to 12 oz of uncooked wide egg noodles 1 jar of pasta sauce (24-26 oz) 2 cups ricotta cheese 4 cups shredded mozzarella or Italian mexican cheese blend 2 tbsp minced parsley 3 eggs 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Cooking spray Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Light spray 9×13 inch pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl, beat eggs and combine with ricotta cheese, parsley and Parmesan cheese; set aside.
BREAD LASAGNA PIE
In a very large pot of boiling water cook noodles for 1 minute less than the package directions. Drain well and pour into prepared pan. Stir in pasta sauce to coat the noodles completely – if your pasta sauce is too thick add some butter to thin it out. Spread half of the noodles evenly on bottom of pan, top with half of cheese mixture. Cover with remaining layer of noodles and top with remaining cheese mixture .
Bake uncovered at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly . Bready lasagna pie should be left pan while cooling to allow moisture to be absorbed by Bready lasagna.
